Live Arcade double header
Gyruss and Golf tomorrow.
Microsoft looks to be making good on its pledge to up the rate of Xbox Live Arcade releases - with Gyruss and 3D Ultra MiniGolf Adventures both set to appear tomorrow morning at 9am GMT.
Gyruss is another Konami-made arcade conversion, and will cost 400 Microsoft points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.65). In it, players fly a spaceship from Neptune to Earth, shooting the spacecrap out of things on the way. There's split-screen co-op and versus modes, and online multiplayer too.
Meanwhile, the game they're not calling 3DUMGA (sadly) is the second from Sierra Online's Wanako Games, who you may remember from such 7/10s as Assault Heroes. Slightly more expensive at 800 points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.30), Wanako's MiniGolf game promises "mind-bending, imaginative courses" and over-the-top presentation, as well as a course editor so you can design your own crazy golf emporium.
Look for both games tomorrow morning, and don't forget each will be available in demo form, with 12 unlockable achievements 200 more gamerpoints to hunt down.

Maybe, not that i'd call £6.80 expensive for any brand new, made from scratch game, but ain't you forgetting how much more you'd have paid for the console anyway? I know if i was looking to purchase one or the other i'd be looking at console price rather than a few pence here and there on Arcade games.
