Free Saints Row 2 fashion DLC today

T-shirts and tattoos in third and final release.

Volition has made the "third and final" DLC pack for Saints Row 2 available for free on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

The Unkut Pack includes 62 clothing and tattoo character customisations licensed from the hip-hop fashion brand.

There are t-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, bracelets, necklaces, jeans, and Unkut logo tatoos. Full details can be found at the Saints Row 2 blog.

And that's it for Stilwater city, as Volition's attention now turns to the just-released Red Faction: Guerrilla.

I liked the game, but I somehow felt a little underwhelmed by the DLC. And getting all these clothes now seems a bit odd. I am not going to play it enough to take advantage of all these clothes.

Ah well. It's free. Into my queue it goes. Might check them out at home later.

Did they ever bother to add trophy support with any of the dlc?

Too little, too late. Sold my copy on ebay the other day.

The game was a good laugh in co-op but it was full of bugs that were never fixed and the previous DLC was worthless.

    It's free...FOR GOLD ONLY. Cocks

@_Jamie - Yeah, I saw this *FREE* DLC on the PS Store and thought I'd download it for the 360 version to check it out. I then found out that Microsoft have locked it out for Silver users for at least a week. Unbelievable really considering this is *FREE* content for (presumably) the single player game that doesn't require a Gold subscription to actually play it.

What the hell WERE they thinking?!? Do they honestly think Silver users are going to be tempted to pay £30-£40 per annum to download *FREE* DLC and demos early? :?

The SR2 DLC has been a lesson in what not to do with add on content, the first pack was overpriced and rather poor and broke co-op if the other player didn't have it.

Second pack was cheaper but I've no idea how good it is as I'm not prepared to pay for it after the first one underwhelmed so much, even though they reduced the price.

Third pack is sponsored content that's fairly pointless.

Bad show THQ, don't make the same mistakes with Red Faction Guerilla's DLC please.

    @Whizzo

I foolishly tried the 2nd pack (against my better judgement) as I had some spare points. It's very nearly as woeful as the first one. The difference separating the 2 is so slight it's not even worth mentioning.

Very shoddy efforts. They might have got away with if it was early 2008, but in the wake of Fallout 3 and GTA IV, much higher standards of DLC are expected these days.
