Blur demo and DeathSpank on PSN

Plus five new minis, special offers.

When is Alien Breed going to hit PSN ?.
  • FladgeMangle #3 2 years ago

Are they ever going to put some more PS classics up there? Is the current and rather paltry collection all we're going to get?

Somebody at Sony's Euro PSN department isn't doing their job I think.

Trine level pack... was not expecting that... and at 79p is a "purchase without thought".

3 drunk mates and chaos ensues... "no create a box over there you idiot"...

And I will take a look at Aquattack!... just for you!

Anyone know if the Blur demo new, or is it the same as the 360 Beta they did a few months ago?
  • Kazzahdrane #8 2 years ago

    @LondonSquare82:

It's similar to the MP beta the 360 had, but it was built after the game was finished so it's got the final UI/audio/balancing etc.

Kinda strange if you have to put "free" behind a demo. :p

But then it's to avoid any confusion I guess.

    O.O

Why do they give you a demo of Blur and then you HAVE to wait for an available slot to play online - REALLY STUPID!!!

And another thing I HATE racing games with R2 & L2 buttons! Hence why I don't have Burnout!

    Rant over :-P

Yeah, the Blur demo does not do the game much service right now. It appears to be online only, and I couldn't get connection to the server at all last night. They should have put at least one off-line game in there.

Is there any way to buy Worms without going to the store through the PS3? I can't access mine at the moment.
  • sir_smooch #15 2 years ago

well another poor european update to the psn from scee. even the playstation plus stuff is inferior to the us psn :( come on sony surely our money is just as good as americas.

Played the Blur demo lastnight, I actually really bloody enjoyed it! I think I'll get it next week.
  • Arwin #17 2 years ago

@callum9999: Do you mean Worms for the PSP or something like that? You can access the PSN store for PSP through Media Go on your PC or through the PSP directly. For the PS3 though, the only alternative to the Playstation Store is bluray, basically.

Arwin, isn't the worms PSN game in the article PS3 only? I assumed it wouldn't show up on the Media Go or PSP stores. To clarify it was wanted for the PS3 - I just can't access it at the moment and hoped there was an alternative way to order it - seemingly not. Thanks though
