Capcom working on 15 different projects

Growing "dramatically" in coming years.

Capcom has said it is working on 15 different projects and aims to grow "dramatically" in the "coming few years".

Its US blog mouthed off in an effort to coax more staff on board, claiming a different vision to other publishers, better focus on quality, and a more productive working relationship with its developers.

"We've got a different outlook on things than the big guys out there," said Seth Killian, Capcom USA community chap. "We care about quality first and foremost, and we work closely with our partners to make great games. We have to - that's what sets Capcom apart from the rest.

"We're pretty damn honest with our teams, and when there are things that need to be talked about, we create relationships with our third party developers where we can all be as candid as possible.

"It stings at first, but once the relationship is established it becomes more healthy and productive than any dev partnership I've ever seen," he added.

Capcom gave us a an overview of its most most exciting and immediate projects at its Gamers Day last October. Big hitters were obviously Street Fighter IV, Okami Wii, and Devil May Cry 4 (out now). But there are plenty more: most we know about, but some we don't.

"We're in the midst of growing our Product Development team dramatically over the coming few years, and we are looking for the best of the best to join our team," added Killian.

"We've got 15 different projects cooking right now (and more to come) - many that have been announced like Dark Void, Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, Commando 3, Rocketmen, Talisman, MotoGP, Okami Wii, and many more titles that haven't even been announced. Yet."

Being helpful, we rustled-up a list of those we know are in development. Feel free to chip in below.

  • Dark Void

Plus of course he might be including the likes of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (out in US/Japan) and Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (due out this week).
