Aion beta keys now activated!
Please read if you claimed one.
On Friday, Eurogamer gave away 2500 keys for the next phase of the closed beta for Aion: The Tower of Eternity, which runs this coming weekend. Woo!
Unfortunately, we didn't know that the keys had not yet been activated, so those of you who claimed one weren't able to register it straight away. Boo.
Happily, those keys have finally been activated so, if you were lucky enough to claim one, you can now go ahead and enter it at the NCsoft site. You can still view your key and the instructions for what to next at the giveaway page.
You'll then be able to play the hotly-anticipated MMO between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th July.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

In the meantime, I shall try and do some work and resist googling about Aion and the available classes.... So... very... tempting!

Edit: Ah, it didn't tie my key to the account. Well, that's good, at least.

yes - i've used the US client in all the events so far
The easiest way to get the client in preperation for the event is to download the NC Launcher, set its region to US in File->settings. Restart the launcher and Aion will be in the list. Download it and when its done just switch the launcher back to EU in the same way you set it to US
I don't know why they don't have the EU download servers up sooner though, considering that its still going to take most people a fair amount of time to get it.
Hope that helps everyone having troubles.

I've been obsessing over the classes in the meantime! Hmmm, melee or magic? Healer or ranged??!?!?
