Our giveaway of free copies of Age of Conan has now finished! 1000 keys for a digital download of the game disappeared in a little over an hour. If you got one, well done!

Unfortunately, many of you found that the link to download the game client did not appear on your Age of Conan account page as it was supposed to, once you'd registered your key and logged into the account.

We've asked Funcom what gives, but they are as mystified as we and, no doubt, you are. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyway, there's a simple solution and so without further ado, here's a link to download the English-language version of Age of Conan:

Just hit that to get the game, and enjoy!

If some patching is whats needed to make it a good game, then i have no problem with that personally.

I'm on Broadband (slow broadband it seems) getting speeds fluctuating between 40kb/s and 170kb/s gonna take between 19 and 55 hours to update....hurrah!!!! Gonna kill my bandwidth for the night and destroy my download limit.....so much for being free lol

Started off at about 1.8mb/s now im back to 600KB/s. Not sure if Virgin have throttled my bandwidth

Currently downloaded 7gig but still another 2h 50 min at the current download rate.

Thank you Eurogamer for the game account. Now I'm patching the game, I only got 60KB/s which is really slow. Is there any client? Like a torrent to ease the download? Slow internet connection here in my location.

And does the Update Manager auto resume from where did you disconnect from patching?

Im on Virgin 20meg but it's still crap, still doing 600KB/s, deffo been throttled

So an average speed of my connection would take how many hours? 55KB/s to 100KB/s max. Meaning to say I still have 40Hours of downloading? T____T

Does the 11.8GB can be cancel then resume? Thanks.

Don't think it can be resumed from the cancellation point, have to start all over from what i can tell.

I tried to cancel the download of 11.8gb and it didn't resume. T_T

Now I'm finding ways to download the client, downloading via torrent "Age of Conan EU Early Access Client" I hope that it cuts the patching time of the whole game. And I can pause then resume it again.

Logged in ok after the download, but i don't see an english servers. Mostly French and Spanish, anyone else got any other options?

You can exit the update and resume later .I tried.You cand resume later because its not a single 11 gb file,is 91000 files..so you cand exit and resume later

I see the account management pages are as un-intuitive and clunky as ever. I've just tried re-activating my account through a 14 day trial I was sent, and it's ended up taking payment from me for it . Of course no-one is replying to any emails I sent. Seriously pissed off with this, if they haven't sorted out the account management side of things, I'm not hoping much for the game either now

Well, gotta be said I'm addicted to this, really like it so far. I heard that after Tortage its not as good, hopefully with the latest build more work will have gone into the next bits. REALLY enjoying it though, looks like I will be keeping my sub for this on going

Looks like they have fixed the links on the account page also, showing up on mine now

There is no such thing as auto-resume with the Download Manager. Yes, the whole patch is divided into four and after each piece you won't gonna start again after you've finish any part of the patch. But say you have to patch a huge amount of 11gb, when you exit the Download Manager in the middle of that process, it won't resume from where you left off like with WoW's auto patcher. Pain accessing this game especially for low bandwidth ISP's. I can't do anything because its the only high speed I can get in my location.

Accessability with the game is one of the issues getting in the game.
