Valve founder Gabe Newell noted during his CES keynote that the developer currently has 250 games running on SteamOS with more on the way.

When asked if Valve would create its own Steam Machine, Newell said, "We're gonna make that decision as we go along," according to a report by Endgadget. The enigmatic developer then added, "We have plans to build more machines as customers ask." So far there are only 300 prototypes for a Valve-made Steam Machine.
