Portal 2 In Motion PS Move DLC campaign hits EU PSN next week

Costs eight quid.

The Portal 2 In Motion DLC campaign launches on the European PlayStation Network next week, Sony has announced.

It goes live on Wednesday 14th November 2012 alongside the Store update. It costs £7.99 / €9.99. PlayStation Plus members can grab it with a 30 per cent discount.

In Motion adds motion control support to the first-person puzzle game in the form of scaling and rotation of objects and portal surfing. The new test chambers included “look familiar from Portal 2 but require new thinking to solve” Josh Bays, director of product marketing at Sixense Entertainment wrote on the EU PlayStation Blog.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday a free patch for the game will be released which adds the Move support for the entire single-player campaign and co-op campaigns.

“The patch will provide a touch of the motion experience provided by Sixense, but while the original Portal 2 campaigns will be fully playable with PlayStation Move, only the Portal 2 In Motion DLC features the gameplay mechanics and original campaign designed by Sixense specifically for motion,” Bays said.
