Diablo 3 offline tomorrow morning to prepare for patch 1.0.3

Should be ready around midday tomorrow.

Diablo 3 will be offline tomorrow morning to prepare for the release of patch 1.0.3, Blizzard has announced.

The scheduled maintenance begins Wednesday 20th June at 2am UK time. Blizzard reckons it'll be finished its work by around 12pm.

Players will not be prompted to download the patch until it is live in their home region, however.

"If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed," community manager Takralus explained on Battle.net.

"Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched."

Patch 1.0.3 makes changes the Inferno difficulty, rare item drops on bosses and bonus monster damage when playing in a group, among many other things. More here.
