UPDATE: A Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson has confirmed to Eurogamer that it does not use the Enfield warehouse affected by last night's riots, suggesting the impact on delivery of PlayStation-related products will be minimal.
ORIGINAL STORY: Deliveries of Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs throughout the UK could be affected after a huge warehouse was set alight by rioters in London last night, Sony has said.
Sony's giant Enfield DADC centre was torched by rioters and looted during widespread chaos in London.
"There will likely be some impact on deliveries," Sony spokesperson Yoko Yasukochi told Reuters.
"We cannot determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage yet because it's not possible to enter the building."
Sony DADC is a subsidiary of Sony Corp. It specialises in packaging and pressing discs and sending them off to warehouses for distribution.
Eurogamer has asked Sony about the impact the fire will have on PlayStation.
