Store update welcomes Alien Breed, too.

The star attractions this week on the PlayStation Store are Vanquish and R.U.S.E. demos and Team17's Alien Breed: Impact. The latter is offered as a free trial or Ł12 for the full game.

Valkyria Chronicles II is on sale for PSP ("worth examining", concluded our 8/10 review), as are golden PSone oldies Tomb Raider and Front Mission 3.

Additional content this week is led by BioShock 2 add-on Minerva's Den. There are also free costumes for Red Dead Redemption, cars for Split/Second, character slots for MAG and multiplayer extras for Kane & Lynch 2.

The usual slew of Rock Band and Guitar Hero catalogue additions can be perused, along with other less noteworthy PS Store additions, on the European PlayStation blog.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Home has grown with Hudson Gate - the specialised publisher space for Bomberman maker Hudson. That means Bomberman bits to buy plus 'Dolphy' racing to do, whatever that is/they are.

Finally, the PSP Digital Comics Store shelves have been replenished with a second issue of the StarCraft comic, more Castlevania, more Captain America, more Sonic and more.

What you missed from the US PSN Store update: Castle Crashers (trial and full game), Yakuza 3 DLC and Theme Hospital for the PSone.

and i think weve had theme hospital for months if not years, in fact one site says it was on special offer on the EU store last October so it must of been out a while before that

Played the ruse demo and at first i wasn't liking it but by the end i was really getting to grips with it and loving it, looked like the demo was Move compatible as well, so have another go in a couple of weeks to see if that fixes the niggles i had with the pad controls

Enjoyed the RUSE demo as well. Been one of my most anticipated games for a while now but was worried how it'd play with dualshock as i was planning on getting MOVE with it.

Pleased to say it works, i got mixed up with the controls sometimes and i was opening menus by mistake but i'd imagine that would stop once you get used to it. Also the demo is huge, took me 50mins to complete it but you could spend hours. (The AI forced me to rush as they destroyed my base so i had to send everything i had to thiers and pray i won... which i did

Alien Breed was surprisingly good. Can't afford to splash out on the full game yet, but probably will. Atmospheric and very playable.

Enjoyed the PS3 demo of Vanquish--feels like Lost Planet+GeoW+Mass Effect 2. Shame there isn't a PC version.
