Long-rumoured Spyro Reignited Trilogy listed on Amazon, with ugly boxart

Pulford

You guys remember the og crash remaster box-art? Was literally a spitting image of this and acted as a placeholder. The final box-art changed about a month before launch. Whether you like it or dislike it, don't get too attached.

Figured seeing as the comments will inevitably take a downward spiral that I'd add some preemptive fuel to the fire.

@Simatron3000 That method still required flying about until that specific enemy spawned. Can't remember what they're were called but I know the enemy you're on about. Round things that live on an island somewhere.

On a different note, unsure as to whether you guys have seen it but Tom Fulp has a new game releasing (separate to The Behemoth). Titled: Nightmare Cops, it looks like a spiritual successor to Castle Crashers/Alien Hominid. Here are some screens: http://tomfulp.newgrounds.com/news/post/990541

Here's hoping that both McMillan's and Fulp's latest hit Xbox around the same time so that I can relive my XBLA nostalgia through spiritual successors galore.

@Binba442 I remember seeing early footage of "ouroboros" and while aesthetically similar, the gameplay was noticeably different. I agree that it is a bit worrying how quickly his projects spring up and then disappear but I can't fault McMillan's talent. You only need to look at Super Meat Boy Forever to see where the creativity went when Team Meat split.

I remember seeing you on the plumper side whilst working on Videogamer content Miller. Thinking to myself this guy is massive but that sort of reckless eat everything, bigger is better "massive." I now see that I was a fool and that was a simple bulking phase. Really puts this article into perspective considering that was a few years back (around when Matt Lees was still with Videogamer - and Bratt of course!).

I guess what I'm trying to say is: awesome job man. Also I'm from Luton aswell, nice to see a representative who proves that it isn't a total shit-hole!

I think Nintendo exclusives and indie titles really are enough for the Switch. I doubt many people will vouch for playing the spectacle-heavy 3rd-party title (outputted by EA, Ubisoft, and so on), especially on a platform that can't output the same level of visual fidelity as it's competition.

Instead Nintendo can rely on it's own less-demanding artistic style and titles like these, each boasting a creative use of visuals as opposed to one that is graphically intense. Playing a game like Steam World Dig 2 on a handheld makes a lot more sense to me than playing it on my decked-out PC.
