Majesco has said it will definitely release an admirable 10 games before the end of October, plus another two by the end of January 2009.
The publisher confirmed its schedule to IGN, unearthing few surprises and giving little more than reassurance to those of you who wanted it because maybe you lost your blanket you carry around and are now having a little cry.
Majesco Europe has popped its name down as publisher for Nanostray 2, and announced that it will be on shop shelves early next year.
Developer Shin'en has released a barrage of new details for shoot-'em-up sequel Nanostray 2.
Unfortunately, while you can use Wi-Fi to upload your high scores to a worldwide leaderboard this time around, the game will still rely on local co-operative multiplayer.
But Shin'en has added the new and promised touch-screen control system. Apparently this will make for a completely new experience, and if it's one you don't like, you can always switch back to the Classic Control scheme.
Shin'en Multimedia has announced that it's working on a sequel to charming but short-lived DS shoot-'em-up Nanostray.
Not much is known about Nanostray 2 other than it has a logo and is due out in 2007, but Shin'en promises that it will make some use of the touch-screen, and will support multiplayer over Wi-Fi Connection - i.e. the Internet. The previous game used the touch-screen for changing weapons, as you'll know if you did Ctrl-F "touch" on John's review in the manner I just did.
Fortunately for those of you seeking more information, we're promised more in the way of both that and screenshots via the official website very soon. "Shin'en again raises the bar for high quality games with never-seen-before graphics, awesome audio and innovative gameplay on the Nintendo DS," says project manager Manfred Linzner, who's presumably seen the aforementioned information and screenshots.
