Competitive Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom player Noel Brown has been banned from a series of high-profile fighting game tournaments following an instance of "unwarranted and unwanted contact" with a fellow attendee.
Fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom Origins leaves PlayStation Network and Xbox Live soon, publisher Capcom has warned.
Don't expect more updated versions of classic Capcom fighting games, the publisher has said.
Following high definition reworks of the likes of Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3, Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Marvel Super Heroes, Darkstalkers and Puzzle Fighter, Capcom will "slow down" on development of similar projects.
Why? Because of a drop-off in sales.
Downloadable retro fighting game medley Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins will be released on 26th September, Capcom has announced.

The improvements: HD graphics; "GGPO-enhanced" online fighting with eight-player lobbies and spectator mode; dynamic challenges; replay saves.
Capcom has announced Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, due out on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in September 2012.
It bundles together nineties fighting games Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Heroes, complete with a HD lick of paint.
Both games feature GGPO-enhanced online play, with eight-player lobbies, spectator mode, HD graphical upgrades, in-game achievements and replay saving.
