"We've always enjoyed doing guns," says Tripwire Interactive's Alan Wilson. No kidding. The studio made its name with the cult Unreal Tournament mods, Red Orchestra and Killing Floor, which subsequently became games in their own right. Now Killing Floor - a popular co-op survival shooter - is getting a sequel, and that sequel's guns will be animated at 200 frames per second, the better to drool over their bolt action when it all goes slow-mo.
These people take their work seriously. To find out how seriously, check out the following video, in which our YouTube Editor Ian Higton catches up with Wilson for an exclusive interview at Gamescom and a deep dive into the features of Killing Floor 2.
