This week on Outside Xbox

Judgment day.

Hi Eurogamers. This week saw the release of Gears of War: Judgment, this generation's last gasp for the bullnecked franchise, with Epic handing the reigns over to Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly. Some fans aren't keen on its dramatic departure from the typical format and visual style of the main Gears of War series. Others find the new variety and colour a refreshing change. Where do we fit in? Watch on to find out:

We also tackle Gears of War: Judgment in Show of the Week, in which we give the Lancer its props as one of the best videogame weapons of all time and Jane recounts her sweary experiences from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Championship European final:

Speaking of Call of Duty, did you know that the actor behind Modern Warfare's Captain Price was in Eastenders? Or that the one who played Sleeping Dogs' Wei Shen also played a Bond villain? Join us for more astonishing revelations as we uncover the actors behind famous video game characters and where you can watch them in the live-action flesh on TV and in film:

Finally this week, with details emerging about Saints Row 4, we revisit the outrageous moments from the previous Saints Row games that Saints 4 is going to have to beat. Featuring nudity, co-op griefing, chainsaws and a giant purple penis. Obviously:

For this, plus part two of Jane's adventures through the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC with Andy's borrowed Commander Shepard and our ideas for gaming crossovers to beat Left 4 Dead X Resident Evil, check out outsidexbox.com.
