Firstly, I really hope you guys have listened to all of the feedback, painful as that may be, since DR. Codies really did do everyone good and proper with the marketing dept vs delivered product disparity.
Can you please confirm that there is no longer a bounding circle on multiplayer co-op?
Also, I've just read on your forums that there is no PvP multiplayer - is that for real?
Mission editor - crucial, crucial part of the experience - is it in?
Thanks in advance for answering - if you don't answer, you have anyway if you get me :-) Reply+6
Did their parents not read them 'The little boy who cried wolf' when they were kids?
Will wait for other peoples impressions before I even go near it.
If it wants to be taken seriously, it needs to lose the ridiculous little insta-death bounding circle from co-op play. As I've said before, the 'real' Op-flashpoint team didn't even need to resort to that on the OLD xbox!
Also, take another leaf out of their book - maybe email them, and ask them how to do a mission editor - another feat they performed on the OLD xbox. Reply+5
What a TOTALLY pointless trailer, no in-game footage whatsoever.
I'll be holding on to my cash after getting stung by the outright lies about 'Operation Flashpoint' Dragon Rising.
Oh, and if you are truly focusing on co-op, don't restrict everyone to a tiny radius again, it's pathetic. The real Op Flash team didn't have to resort to that on the original xbox, years ago - tut, tut.
One last thing - mission editor. Once again, outdone by the original team who managed to squeeze this into the version on the original xbox. Kinda speaks volumes, no? Reply+18
Shortest ever demo life. Those controls do not work. The end.
I have it on the DS, have been tempted by the PSP version, but was intruiged to see how it played on the Ipod touch and in my opinion without a thumb 'anchor point' the controls are not well suited. Shame, because the graphics engine is lovely. Reply+1
Looking through this thread, I'm pretty sure that the new Indian investors have signed up dozens of their employees as EG users, paid by the click on the minus button each time the game... Dragon Rising... is mentioned!

This gen I have a Ds lite, DSi, fat PSP, slim PSP, 3x xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Ipod touch, PC etc. so that's a pretty fair spread of brands! :-)
However, you can't deny the pricing and choice is nice on the Ipod touch/Iphone!
What would be ideal is a hybrid of what is available at the moment. Graphics from PSP with twinsticks, touchscreen ala touch/DSi, and Apple's appstore/pricing/dev schemes. Reply0
"our senior VP bought one the day it came out and has a great story, because he ended up on some customer support line just trying to do basic stuff. He had to re-download his software, do an immediate firmware update, and that's your user experience."
A great story? That explains the 'plot' in Dragon Rising :-D Reply+1
*LOVED* PD right up until the... cloaking enemies... FFS. If I wanted to fight invisible enemies I would TURN MY TV OFF! Tat.
The most innovative part of PD for me, was the ability to play in counter-op mode, rather than co-op mode. Having a mate take control of the AI baddies to try and thwart your progress through the game was genius. This particular mode hit the framerate hard, but it was still our most played. Don't know why it hasn't been repeated since, it's a prime idea to nick! Would be extra special over Live where you can't glance at his position to try and work out which AI he is. Reply+2
Disgraceful. So many unfullfilled promises, amounting to downright PR lies.
Tell you what codies, now I've seen what you're capable of, I'll skip your next one - you didn't even better the version which was released on the original xbox! Back to programming school? Reply+11
I'd been waiting an age for something decent to come along on DSiWare - and frankly it didn't, really.
Then I had an Ipod touch for christmas, and wondered why I had wasted so long waiting for pick and play goodness, when there was an embarrasment of riches that is the appstore. At sensible money. Reply-2

And let's not forget Angry Birds was just doing something which had gone long before it, albeit very well.

From the lack of response, I therefore conclude;
1. Instadeath bounding circle remains in co-op
2. No PvP multiplayer
3. No mission editor
Ker-ching, NO SALE.

Any for anyone who calls bullshit, try this simple experiment.
1. Let 100 kids watch a kung fu film.
2. Place same 100 kids in a large room together.
