Dark Age of Camelot maker unveils new MMO Camelot Unchained, which sounds very similar indeed

Games of 2012: Far Cry 3
having spent hours getting everything, every side mission every weapon.... EVERYTHING !!!
I have found a most annoying oversight.
One of the relics does not show up on the map, this relic cannot be obtained towards the end of the game.
No spoilers, but....
once you have a friend rescued and she is in the cave, search that cave for relic 1

Modern Warfare 3's Chaos Pack dated next week on PS3, PC
I read yesterday that elite subscribers can get Borderlands for free at the moment.
Sony have made the elite thing realy interesting, and very tempting. Reply -8
Battlefield 3 Premium racks up 800,000 subscribers
why is it any different to the fact that Football used to be on TV for free, and now you need to pay Sky to watch it?
More importantly, why am I beguiled for choosing to make that payment? Reply -4
Why does that make me a "evil EA condoning, kitten killing, terrorist" ?
I don't hate people who subscribe to Netflix
I don't hate people who buy Sky sports

Blizzard talks Titan development
I don't play it, but the numbers of people willing to pay each month to play this game, which is 5 years old makes an amazing statement about the game.

Eurogamer Readers' Top 10 Games of 2010
ME2 was superb and I still play BF:BC2 online.
Was a great year for games (on a personal note would have liked to have seen Pinball FX2 in the top 50, but great to see Game Dev Story there).
Here's to 2011 ...... Batman, Mass Effect 3 ,Elder Scrolls V, L.A. Noire and Brink...... for the top 5? Reply +8

New Blizzard MMO won't replace WoW
Now how many XBOX, PS3 players have a current WoW account ( I do) , but in reality probably not many have both and are paying to both, so therefore a new MMO designed with consoles in mind and targeted at console players would bring in NEW subscribers and MORE new subscribers.
Guys I know PC gamers are very protective of Blizzard ( and rightly so) but think about the business side, and it makes perfect sense. Its a Holy Grail for MMO designers to tap into the console market for MORE subcribers. Reply 0
Much fewer WoW ship jumpers (already getting cash from those), a whole new customer base to explore, and with expansions keep the existing one's playing WoW . No EQ1+2 customer base splitting this way (well less so)

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm dated
It isnt like other games, I can play any other game and just turn it off when I feel like I want to, or if the wife needs me. There is something about WoW that triggers something in my mind like no other game, all night raiding looking for mats for something really strange.
The other thing is, when I play that game no other game gets a look in , nothing at all. I am playing Oblivion atm yeah I know late to the party (superb game btw). Now last night I fancied a game of Reach so I stuck that on instead , not with WoW every gaming moment is swallowed up.
I realize the problem is with me though, and for all those players who can control how much they play it for, I am genuinely jealous , as you get to play a superb game but still retain freedom. Reply +1

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
I would hope the player base would start to decline if for no other reason than to get Blizzard to work on a newer MMO they are obviously genius's at it Reply 0
