I forget the name of the really clunky strategy that was almost good, but fell incredibly flat. It had the rock version of the Imperial March. Reply +2
I'm still tempted to pick up a Rogue Squadron or two for my Wii.
I'm currently playing through KOTOR and my wife is loving that. The Dark Forces series was all good to great. The X-Wing/Tie Fighter series was fantastic and needs a reboot, even if those freespace modders just get on the case.
I played Episode 1 racer for hours on PC. It was fantastic with a joystick.
I even enjoyed The Force Unleashed, although I think I'm in a minority there.
Can't we just continue to ignore the crap and love the good? If another good Star Wars game comes out, you can be sure I'll be getting it.
Also, why has nobody mentioned Yoda Stories? Was that any good? Reply +3

Kinect for PC piqued my interest too. Then they announced the price, and I thought it would be a bit high. Also, I already use a TrackIR, and had wondered how that would compare with Kinect if and when it comes out. I don't think Kinect will fit on top of my monitor as neatly. Reply 0

Lost Humanity 17: Dishonour
great article. I really enjoyed that. I once had to break into my parents' house when I locked myself out when they were on holiday. I didn't attribute my resourcefulness to gaming at the time. This made me think. Reply +3
Wing Commander creator returns to melt your PC with new space sim Star Citizen
I don't believe in instabuys or pre-ordering any more for the most part, but this is pretty close for me. Its certainly a genre with room for a couple of extra franchises these days. The X series is all I know of that's current, although Freespace 2 and it's mods are no slouch.
In any case, hooray for new blood. Reply +3
Lost Humanity 16: Size Doesn't Matter
I'll choose the best known examples I can think of.
Can you imagine if you could see everything there is to see in Skyrim in the time it takes to complete Call of Duty 4? You'd feel like far too much is missing, and that you'd been cheated.
How about doing it the other way around? 100 hours or more of the CoD formula repeated over different locales? I think it would be very repetitive and boring. Reply 0
