Their own game modded into a MP game that could take players away from the multiplayer in the same game.
Putting another multiplayer mode in seem like modding multiplayer to me
Except it isn't. I just don't see how GoW is in any way enhanced by the 60 fps. Bayonetta, sure, dmc of course, any driving or fighting game too.
Slow, pondering game with crunch? Huh?
Last of Us feel is utterly ruined by the faster frame rate on ps4 and so is dark souls 2. Nuclear Throne is capped at 30 and is better for it.
I mean just because a number is bigger it doesn't ALWAYS make it better.
in fast paced games like this, of course. Makes a huge difference.
In slow paced games like The Last of Us, not necessarily. In TLOU I didn't find the frame rate to make a difference whatsoever to gameplay, and I personally preferred the look of 30fps for a more dramatic feel anyway.
what's clear is that the move to what is effectively a full 60fps lock is the major component that elevates the gameplay experience. Not only is God of War 3 now more pleasing from a visual perspective, it's actually a little less frustrating to play in its platforming areas - while combat is more enjoyable overall

Did Rocksteady have anything to do with the PC port? No, they made a PS4 / Xbox One game. Warner Bros is the publisher, they make all the business decisions. Rocksteady has no say at all over the PC version.
People need to stop blaming Rocksteady, Warner makes the decision relating to ports & releases, not the developer. Rocksteady only made the PS4 / Xbox One versions & only deserve praise. If you bought a Picasso from an art gallery & it arrived with a giant turd on it, you wouldn't blame him would you?
Rocksteady's superb work doesn't deserve to be overshadowed by the poor PC version.
Is it just me, or are people actually not aware that Valve has never come anywhere close to announcing Half-Life 3, and that none of these "signs" and "hints" that Valve supposedly drops actually have anyting to do with it?
