If the original gets a four off you I can't imagine what the Jude Law version would get. Speaking of Get, Get Carter is fucking great. That is all.

You are a factory of sadness.

@kentmonkey Have you seen the remake? If so, how'd you compare it? I'd like to know if it's the story itself which you didn't warm up to or the execution.

We watched Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest on TBS Saturday night and it was refreshing to see it again. Seriously, I'd forgotten how good it was. Johnny Depp truly is to Jack Sparrow what Leonard Nimoy is to Spock. I also don't understand why so many people hate Kiera Knightley's Elizabeth Swan because she adds a sense of depth to the friendship between Jack and Will.

The Windmill Wheel sword fight is a delight to watch and it never get's old.

I cannot wait to see Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

    I give POTC Dead Man's Chest a 10/10.

    @Dangerous_Dan No, I haven't.

I'm not a huge fan of Jude Law though, so it's got little chance all things considered! :o)

@PhoenixDown I thought it was harsh that they named the film after Kiera Knightley though. Whatever anyone thinks of her performance, she didn't deserve that.

    The actor who played him?

    I don't understand your point

It means he's irreplaceable. Except for when they replaced Spock in the new ones and no-one really cared (except for Giarcwhatever).

I think that Zachary Quinto is pretty good in the role of Spock. I just hope they don't push the envelope between Spock and Uhura to hard. I love the new Bones (didn't realize he is the same actor from LOTR).

I'm also excited for the new Star Trek video game.

    Back to the Future 100/100
The entire series is awesome, but the first one only deserves a 100% score!

Been sick today so between sleeps I managed to watch some bland brain free cinematic wallpaper:

    This Means War 56%
    Mediocre Romcom

    Contraband 62%
Mediocre smuggling thriller with Marky Mark.

    Safe House 76%
Spy thriller dragged above mediocre by Denzel and proximity to 2 other such ropey films.

Australia hasn't reached 1992 yet. They're only just getting around to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Shortland street is in NZ isn't it? Hence our own Kiwi effortlessly recalling it.

I've turned off all the avatars and crap, so don't expect me to be impressed by yours.

New Zealand is only up to Temple of Doom. Cultural epochs are measured by Indy films.

New Zealand is part of Australia isn't it? Kind of like how England owns Scotland and Wales. And that other one.

Both times ive met load, ive asked him if he watches shortland street and almighty johnsons.

Its like when you were a kid and the first thing you asked other kids who went to australia was not 'what was it like?' or 'did you do anything cool?' but 'whats happening on neighbours?'.

Has the UK caught up with Australia yet with Neighbours, or is there still a six month gap? The internet must have been a right bastard for the BBC for viewing figures.
