You can work out 10/10 as a percentage, I'm sure ;-p
Some people suck at percentages in here.
Anyway, percentages suck. -

Saw Heartbreak Kid on Saturday, I'd give it about 65% (that's 6.5/10 fact fans). It passed the time in a pretty pleasant, non-offensive way, and some bits were genuinely funny (jellyfish scene), but I've already forgotten most of it and have no desire (0%) to ever watch it again.Quoted

I found it quite dull, and there was only one moment in the film that raised a smile. Its been compared to the Princess Bride in a couple of the reviews I've seen but its not got that same charm about it.

Sort of enjoyed it myself. Robert DeNiro raised it to watchable for me, that and the ghosts could make me smile.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: 92%
Don't know how I missed this the first time. Held my interest the whole way through the movie, one truly cool action sequence.
8% removed for a slightly flaky ending. -

Fun with Dick and Jane - 3/10 - Aweful Jim Carey film. No real redeeming qualities. -

Spiderman 3 - the bits with Spiderman in 90%.. the bits with Peter Parker 50%. So thats a 70% I suppose.. a good premise ruined by corny bits -

Funny - I actually thought it was *better* the 2nd (and 3rd...) time round. By then I knew exactly what would happen, and I could focus entirely on all the naked m- stunning pictures.

This is a hard one to rate, it was a fine movie. Problem was it was overly predictable at times which really took some points off for me. It was a well done movie, it took awhile for anything to happen but the build-up was also part of why the movie was so good... I dunno, I'll just give it an 80%. -

Registered 8 years agotell no one - 90% great french film. imagine how you would feel if you found out that your wife and childhood sweetheart whom you belived murdered was actually alive and involved in a dangerous conspiracy. great film. -
God, this thread sucks compared to the other one.
Anyway........
Had the day off yesterday, so I caught up with some Sky+'d films:
Lords of Illusion: I liked how they went for the film noir style and it was pretty decent in places, but you could never believe that the main bad guy was all that (after initially appearing as a bald Big Lebowski) and the editing was pretty piss poor too. And Scott Bakula is as wooden as fuck. 6.5/10
Re-Animator: COOMBS!! Love this film. Funny and sick in equal measure. Diminishing returns took a bat to the series, but this really is one of the best horrors of the 80's by quite a long way. 9/10
Braindead: "I kick arse for the Lord!". Funny, graphic and responsible for me and my brother calling each "Rat-Monkeys" for years. 9/10
I think these were all recorded from zone horror, which seemed to have a good run recently.---------------------------------------------------------
