    I wont 1000 it anyway as I will not bother with legendary solo, can get all the others no problems. Think I only have 4 more to get.
    The big jump on mission 2 (can not do it)
    Legendary solo
    3 crawlers with hammer
    25 challenges completed ( I am sure I have done more than this already but no achievement)

    I am still oblivious as to why there is hate for the MP, sure it isn't as good as 3 but it is miles better than Reach.
    I guess high expectations never help.

    First half is tough at times then a lot easier second half.

    Thing I like in Halo 4 over Reach is the ghosting or whatever effect or problem they had in Reach is gone. I think that hurt my eyes.

    Same happened to me, and it says I haven't done chapter 4 of episode 5 despite finishing and getting the achievement for saving both generators. Great going 343!

    I'm just about half way through level 6 on the single player campaign and I've got to say I'm absolutely loving it so far! It just feels so 'epic' and I love all the variety with vehicles, weapons, the indoor and outdoor areas and Cortana's slow decline.

    I completed Halo CE Anniversary (my first ever time playing a Halo game) before starting Halo 4 and I was expecting to me amazed at how good it was but it never really happened. I enjoyed myself but it felt a little repetitive and stale in parts. But Halo 4 is just bowling me over! So much fun!

    Anyway, I'm hoping to finish the single player campaign in the next week or so but I'm interested in having a go at the Spartan Ops missions. Quick question - Should I have completed the single player campaign before starting Spartan Ops or doesn't it matter? I just don't want any spoilers you see.

    mission 7 the next level is the best in the game.

    What is extraction? seen it on waypoint stats and on the new trailer for the map pack but it is not on the playlists?

    Bring on mission 7 then! It's rare that I have a second play-through of a game, especially a FPS but I think Halo 4 will def be staying in my disc drive for the next few months :)

    Not sure what Extraction is either I'm afraid.

    I found the first encounter with the Knights pretty tough on Legendary, but it became markedly easier after that.

    There have been times during my Legendary run when ammo has been crazy tight -usually when backtracking to a cache has been prevented by doors closing behind me. Some desperate scraps against a full range of covenant proved tricky but satisfying once done.

    Didn't get the 'Dedicated to Crimson' achievement even though I've completed all 5 episodes.

    Fucking great. Do I need to do them all solo, or something?

    Also, it says episode 6 is 'coming soon'. I thought there was only 5 episodes in the first season.

    10th episodes. 50 chapters total. There's reportedly a break after ep 5.

    Spartan Ops is set 6 months after the campaign so some details of the CGI relies on you knowing what happened.

    When you unlock a specialisation you get a skin for one of the loadout weapons.

    When the map pack comes (and it's pretty underwhelming, TBH), we get:

    Dedicated map pack playlists (it was suggested there's more than 1)
    Extraction playlist (it's suggested this is not in the above)
    8 new achievements for 250G

    Extraction is 5 vs 5, so no BTB.

    And until next Monday that's all we know.

    Been playing some more MP and after my initial moaning it's finally clicking with me, had loads of fun last night- guess I will be getting that map pack then.

    @Fantomex Oh right that's cool. I shouldn't care I suppose, but it's nice to be able to customise things.

    @Fantomex It's a bit glitchy, just play any chapter solo and it should pop the achievement.

    I think Nades or Pepsi said play one chapter of the first episode or any perhaps and that does it.

    Got all of the Ops achievements now, and dinged Wetwork-3/SR53. You level FAST to begin with!

    Really hope they're smart and roll out the first Specs next week, otherwise I'll be taking a break from this very soon.

    EDIT: Nearly 55 now. VERY fast levelling...

    210 games maps split:



    Even less even now; 32% of games played are on Exile.

    @altitude2k matchmake them while you can. Seriously, with 4 it's piss. And do episode 1 solo legendary, it's the easiest.

    Nah I meant the DLC ones. I've done most of the standard ones, but the DLC ones look like they'll require some astounding MP acrobatics, and some Sierra-117 luck ;-)

    Have they released the list then? Looked for it earlier on X360A and it said there were no details yet.

    EDIT: just seen. Not too bad bar the "melee kill from a man cannon" one. 20 stomp kills might be a pain too. Depends if it all has to be done on the maps or not.
