    I really wish he'd lose that annoying 'rawk' guitar riff from the start of his videos... always have to mute the volume until the damn thing's over.

    Yeah, I always spend the first ten seconds trying to skip over the intro, missing, going back, going forward etc. Takes me longer than actually listening to it, but then I don't have to actually listen to it, so I still win.

    Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

    Yeah the generic hard rock soloing all over the parish grates after a while. I actually listened to the whole track, and having heard that section so many times the entire song just sounded wrong.

    Anyway, even though any Yahtzee review has to be taken with a pinch of salt I thought it still raised the main negative point well, in that the series seems to be 'clutching at straws' when it comes to reasons to resurrect itself, and the plot seems to involve zombies for no apparent reason anymore.

    I may just like my sci-fi and horror to be boring, but I really think the RE series need to go back to roots and needs to be set in a single haunted house, or similar.

    I think they should go the other way. The entire population of the planet should become zombiefied, then the planet itself becomes a zombie, then it explodes.

    I'm always a bit disappointed when people say they enjoy the funnies but ignore the reviewing. I've always found a dreadful sympathy between my opinion and his (apart from Demons Souls, the asshole). Maybe it's an age/bitterness thing.

    As time went by I started to see his stuff more like a review that is very focused on what a game does wrong.
    This helps to make it more funny but it also does highlight the things that do not work with the games. While I also turned into full hypocrite mode when he bashed the things I liked in time I learned to see were it was just a matter of differing taste (and patience like for example Monster Hunter) or well made points about things that were far from perfect but did not really matter to me.

    So you are not alone. I watch his videos both for the entertainment value as well as the opinion behind it all.

    I didn't ask for it for Christmas. I managed to snag an Insane Edition for 47 quid from Sainsburys about a week ago, and barely had time to sniff the box before Mrs Hermit confiscated it, wrapped it and shoved it under the tree. Really looking forward to Boxing Day.
