Registered 11 years agoInstead of going to a 4 hour meeting I jumped on the tube and went to bar in China Town, I spent 2 hours chatting to a Japanese woman about her recent trip to China. She spoke perfect Mandarin too. She wants to meet me for lunch tomorrow. I smell the start of something special. ^_^

Registered 9 years agoI was walking along the canal last night on the way back from work, in my suit, smoking a rollie, drinking a can of Stella as is my habit. A young hoody looking guy stopped me, I though "great, here we go", then polite as anything he said "do you have a light, sir?" I was quite taken aback, I don't get called sir. I gave him a light, he said "Thank you, sir" and wandered off. At the same time I felt old, but pleased that he was so polite. Quite the opposite of what I was expecting. But who the hell calls people sir, when that person is fairly young and stood drinking a can of Stella? Madness. -
BTW, have you planted any pr0n in the bushes at the canel yet pete? -
