Crash Bandicoot review: Frustrating trial and error insta-death gameplay leads to broken SIXAXIS™. Still, it's Crash Bandicoot, innit? 6/10.

WipEout review: Frustrating sticky walls which stop you dead lead to broken SIXAXIS™. Still, it's WipEout, innit? 6/10.

Jumping Flash review: Nobody bought this one. 6/10.

    There.

Crash Bandicoot review: was always shite. Get over it. 3/10.

WipEout review: Meh. Nice music if you like Sony artists of the 90s. 6/10.

Jumping Flash review: Never played it. 10/10.

No but really, I can't find any reviews of them ANYWHERE! Surely they're no more recent than some of the stuff that's getting reviewed for the VC? Even if they are, an update wouldn't go amiss.

I'm pretty sure Eurogamer will do a "PS1 downloadables roundup" review article soon.

Oh, and you can also look for PS1 retro reviews in PS3fanboy.com . Even though they're fanboys, they're also pretty harsh on their retro reviews :)

Are these the same games released back on the PS1 or are they somehow different?

I see... I suggest looking at metacritic or something similar for reviews then. =)

They haven't been visually cleaned up to make them look a little more appealing? Also, where's Medievil gotten to. :(

I was thinking of getting Crash (since I've never heard of Jumping Flash, and I have Wipeout Pure on PSP to cover that racer) wasn't sure, but having now read the IGN review and seen the screenshots, I actually still might.

I downloaded Wipeout and Crash - I think that Sony are on to a winner here as long as they add new titles frequently.

The integration between PSP and PS3 is fantastic.
