    Cocoon - the action movie

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

Hope - it's the natural evolution of the series, an exciting, witty, compelling action movie and what fans of Indy have been waiting too long for.

Fear - it will use CGI'd Indy in scenes akin to that surfing scene in the last Brosnan James Bond film and be something that sours the memory of the series in a Phantom Menace type way.

Hopefully Speilberg's involvement will see this stay in line with the original trilogy instead of turning into a CGI fest.

    /boring factette

I've been on the bridge in Sri Lanka that featured in one of the indy films.

We had one hour left of a tour and the guide offered us "Sacred shrine of toot" or "bridge in Indy film".

Only time I've ever put my foot down with my wife :D

Speilberg's been on form for the last few years but how can this be any good? He's much too old for these kind of adventures now surely?

Plus he hasn't washed his shirt since the last film.

What is the time line then. How old would he be in the 1950's? - 60 ish?

I heard a rumour that shia could be his grandson, cos Marion got pregnant at 15.

    and Blanchet is his daughter.

There was a kid in Temple Of Doom and that was great. Also no Nazis in that one so let's cut out the Indy Needs Nazis line.

I might be over-analysing this, but... he has blood on his knee. Hopefuly this means it won't be a sterilised family comedy and we'll see more folks chopped up and crushed and melted and such.
  • Deleted user 22 June 2007 14:38:37
I'm sure they said a while ago that they'd go back to traditional stunts, model work and set-pieces built around scenery, rather than CGI.

The plot runours are currently that it's set slightly after WW2 and features the Mayan civilisation (possibly off the back of the working title of "City of Gods").

NO! Last Crusade is the worst. It's just a remake of the first one but with shitter jokes and Sean Connery beinbg annoying. At least ToD tried to do something a bit different.
