I'm sure the show will lose a lot without him, although I'll definitely be watching if Bill Bailey is still on.

I really didnt like Lamarr when I first saw him on TV, seemed like a comedian who was more annoying than funny. But over the years on buzzcocks he has become brilliant, lost the annoying streak and is so sharp.

    That'll be Allison Goldfrapp, then.

I held a door open for her once, and the bloke carrying her shit.

I'm geusing either Sophie Ellis Bextor or the Backstreet boys finally caught up to him...

It's alright and still funny with Wossy hosting (complete with his old haircut, must've been filmed a few months ago) but it is missing the hilarious vitriol of Mark Lemarr. Anyone know why he's not hosting?

Unofficially - he had lots of sex with a female producer last series and this series she got made a senior prod and it turned out she was married the whole time and hence didn't want to work with him. That and he wanted silly money and they said "See ya!". Plus, he's allegedly a c-word on the set. All true, on my daddy's grave.

    Officially - dunno.

    You mean... this is permanent?

Ross is a great presenter, and he was great on the show... but it really is Lamaar's show in my eyes.

"Wossie" was hilarious. One of the wittiest presenters around.

Lamarr is better than Wossy by a long way.

Missing the vitriol it's jsut not as funny anymore :-(

Donny Tourette, what a twat. Amstell, Bill Bailey and Julian Barratt however are hilarious.

While you're there, poke that twat Lamarr in the eye for me will you? And tell him he's not funny.

Oh and see if you can put some laxative in Jupitus' tea. Ta.

They usually give these things away don't they? Just phone the beeb switchboard or something. Bound to be a web link, can't be arsed to look.

I saw Lamarr live once years ago when I went to a recording of Jack Dee's stand-up show, this was before Lamarr became well-known, he was doing the warm up. He was exceptionally funny, then, funnier than Dee. But I really don't like him on Buzzcocks.

Late 91 must have been around the time I saw him. He must have been fairly famous by then, seeing as they were recording a TV show.

About time they did something to spice up that intro round, that's why I always switch off Buzzcocks - it goes on forever and it's just not funny... :(

When you said "we were treated to" I expected you to go on with "mince pies" or something, what a swizz!

Presumably she won Big Brother US given that she's American and he keeps making reality gameshow gags.
