Last nights episode was one of the best ever. One of the funniest, too.

Nice to know the bloody playoffs have finished and it's back on.

    One for tonight's viewing then!

    This space left intentionally blank.

It's got a pretty huge following in Australia. Deservedly so.

Hugh Laurie completely carries the show - most of the other characters aren't even remotely interesting - but it's good enough for me.
Agreed. Though the Australian one kinda broke through that when he betrayed House (can't remember the specifics), and then deals with the consequences. For a while I thought he was on his way out, but no, he just skates on thin ice a lot. :)

Why don't more people watch this show?! :'( Stuff like Heroes is getting so much interest around here, yet this show is ignored. It's a travesty!

The recent episode was so good, too. (as has the whole of Season 3) This one wasn't your typical episode of House, and was possibly better for it.

The ratings for this show are insane, too. They should air it after the superbowl! The recent episode pulled in 27.8 million viewers, comparatively Heroes averages about 14 million, along with 24.

I'm actually glad that this whole program has taken off really well, mainly for the fact that Laurie absolutely deserves it. I've been watching A Bit of Fry and Laurie recently (didn't get it when I was young) and the man is a genius actor.

I think it's up to series 11 now. And yep, the latest one was a quite a change in tact to the usual.

And must catch up on Heroes too. I've got 7 eps waiting for me.

Actually I wasn't so keen on the latest episode - a bit too much about the man rather than the case. But then they needed to to something after the whole Trigger thing to ease back into something a bit more normal. Still really enjoyed the ep regardless, mind.

Surely it's nice to have a change from the usual House formula?

I thought it was a brilliant insight to his character.

Yes and no. Personally I approach it more like a detective show where the case comes first and all I want is an interesting character to make it more enjoyable, with any character building coming second to pure plot. Granted, House is a cut above the rest, which is why I still enjoyed it and as long as they don't make every other episode soley about character (which I can't see them doing - not not to the same degree) then I'll be a happy chap.

But what House does really well is do both character and the case as good as each other. It just so happens that the last ep was 'just' really good character building.

I really did enjoy the chemistry between House and the girl, they really pulled it off, I thought.

    I was pretty fascinated throughout.

Oh yes. Lets face it; it's pretty easy to get acted off the screen by Laurie and she really held her own.

I just feel like saying that Cuddy is so sexy. >_> I find her to be a lot hotter than Cameron, I guess because Cameron is a bit of a whiny bitch in the show.

Oh, and the new episode was great, as usual. Season 3 FTW.
  • Deleted user 14 February 2007 19:56:03
With the problem being that the woman playing Cuddy is full on Vegan and the Cameron one is going out with the Aussie Doctor.

...but I have to say that I see where you're coming from.

Cameron isn't that hot out of uniform.

Or at least, she's hotter in it.
