    haha thats funny

its also like those people who say cramming at the last minute for an exam is not good for you - bollocks to that, I never remember anything for an exam apart from stuff i crammed at the last minute.

although maybe that could be their point...

its true, my first 3 essays i left until the last minute (ended up not sleeping in 3 days) i got 2:1's in, so i er, decided to do the same again .... i say decided, i mean i fucked around when i should have been working.

i find it impossible to work in advance, i lack motivation and cant keep a train of thought if i do it in bits.

If your healthy, youll recover from being tired. Because of my illness i can only play a game for about an hour at a time so count yourselves lucky.

I don't think the term lie in even applies before 10am. I certainly wouldn't call 7am a lie in.

8 am is a lie in if you got kids. I got two of the lil scamps and I had fuck all sleep ;ast night. Drifted off at 4am then up at 06.30.

My 8 m onth old son is teething and when finally went to sleep my girl decided to wake up for a wee.

if that wasn't bad enough the gf decided to audition for the worlds most fidgety sleeper.

So...I only got sleep cos I comandeered the settee downstairs. Kids are great they really frickin are.....:oS

I was so tired I didn't bother getting out of bed on my night off last night, just dozed in and out of consciousness and lamenting how long each time I'd been asleep had been. What a way to waste a golden opportunity to actually do something with my life.

As much as I love the holidays, and the way you can laze about doing nothing, they really fuck you up when you get back to work/school. Last week, I couldn't understand how it was possible to live on only 7 hours sleep.

I was up till 1:30am reading Stephen King's book Duma Key, which is unputdownably good. No doubt he'll spoil it with his usual crap ending, like the hand of god coming down and twatting people 'The Stand' stylee.

    Then I was up at 6:30am :(

Yeah, my sleep is completely ruined. It was fine during the holidays - just slept whenever and however long I wanted - but now I have to somehow sort out my schedule. I'm keeping myself awake at the moment (really, really want to have a nap) just so I can get back to a reasonable time :(

My wife and daughter have both been ill for the last 4 days so I think i've managed about 3 hrs sleep a night. In saying that I always feel tired, chronic illness has been fucking with me for years.

Lately I've been going to bed around 4.30/5.00 o'clock in the morning. Getting up between 12 and 14. The last few days I'm setting my alarm clock but I can't really be arsed to get up.
I does give me good opprtunity to watch series and movies. I watched 5 seasons of futurama in 10 days time or something :)

Like an old man I went for a nap yesterday at 7pm with the alarm set to 7.45. The battery died and I didn't wake up until 6am this morning. Wtf.

If you slept that long I reckon the battery died from the alarm going off repeatedly! Sometimes the body does what it needs to regardless of our wants :/

@Razz Could be. I usually get up at 8 so I expected to feel tired later on but I've never felt better in ages. Must have needed it!

At least you woke up. Horrible feeling waking up realizing you phone died, plugging it in and seeing it's 9am and you're late for work.
