For those wondering about UFC 100, I just had a look through my Sky planner, and there's a two hour gap ('no listings available...') on Bravo on Sunday at 10PM.

I reckon that's where UFC 100 will show. On tape delay, sadly, looks unlikely it will show live anywhere. ESPN will take up the rights on their new channel.

The rumours were that Virgin were gonna pick up UFC 100. So its seeming likely now.

The UFC contract will likely go to ESPN in the end though.

Could be the other way round. Ain't Bravo a decent sized American cable channel?

    FFS, the internet?

UFC 100, the biggest most hyped PPV in UFC history and if I want to watch it has to be 3 inches large on my monitor and I'm supposed to be happy?

that's assuming the feed is up, accepting connections or worth a fucking damn on the night

Play it over your PS3's browser, it's handled some live streams for me before with no problems

Dana reckons the ultimate aim for UFC is to be online watching only. I guess this is so they can control buys completely and take more of a percentage, but I never watch sports events online, and I don't really want to in the forseeable future.

What a cock Lesnar is. :-D

Great entertainment and he pummeled the shit out of Mir.

  • Deleted user 12 July 2009 13:59:37
Lesnar is a fucking animal and a complete heel. He absolutely obliterated Mir. I found it hilarious that he basically shrugged off Mirs only offence of the match (the knees) and ended up beating him into a fetal position about 2 minutes later. Mir didn't know what the hell had happened when the match was stopped.

Then walking up to a severely bloodied and beaten Mir at the end and saying 'talk all the shit you want now' before turning around and flipping off the crowd who booed him for most of the fight :D What a complete asshole :) I love it.

Mike Bisping got the beating he was asking for - constantly bad mouthing Henderson and basically acting like he owns the the place because he has a ufc contract. It was too far for Henderson to slam his fist into Bisping's face after he was already out, but I belt it made him feel great :D

That gave me mixed feelings tbh, I mean it makes UK MMA look shit when we have Bisping as our "best" and as soon as he fights someone half good he gets wtfpwnd, he was shitting himself and circling into that right hand!

Yet, Hendo showed all the class of a 3 dollar whore, the follow up punch is one thing, but to chuckle that you did it on purpose and not even check to see if the other guys i ok? that's shite.

Yeah I know there was no love lost between Bisping and Hendo but to drop the forearm into his face when it was abundantly clear he was out was just classless IMO. I thought Dan was better than that.

Not sure how Bisping can recover now to be honest that was a really high profile loss and its gonna be tough to get back on the comeback trail.

My bet? goes back to Cage Rage and Dan Hardy is the new UK boi for Dana, Hardy seems to be a bit more well rounded...but he is Welterweight and that is a packed class now with guys like GSP, Alves etc...

I mean, Mike just does not seem to have a threat for the top guys to me, his hands are not very heavy, his ground game is (to a BJJ or Wrestling guy) sub par and his takedown defense is average. I know there are better UK fighters, but his personality is what Dana likes, he draws crowds.

I don't think he will drop out entirely yet but another loss in his next few fights could be a total killer. On the welterweight front GSP really needs to move up in weight class, hes just so much better than anyone in that division. Its almost getting to the point where I want to skip his fights because of how completely controlling he is.

I would love to hear a post fight interview with Mike tbh, or a reaction from Dana, just to get some idea of his plans now.

Lesnar's post-match interviews and press conference are up on UFC.com now. He apologises for his unproffesionalism along with a bit of bud light pimping. :-P

Brock is well on his way to becoming the biggest draw in MMA. He fights like Fedor. It's basically a mauling when he's in the ring.

He sort of showed up the BBJ discipline last night by just overpowering Mir who couldn't even manage to attempt one of his fancy submissions. Simply out-wrestling a guy and beating his face off and bouncing the back of his head off the side of the cage with punches seems to beat armbars and leg-locks.

The end of the fight said a lot. Mir's face was absolutely destroyed, he could barely stand up and seemed not to realise he'd been beaten for a bit whereas Brock looked as fresh as a daisy.

Probably a bit late but this was live on The Racing Channel for the Sky people.

UFC need to discipline their fighters a lot more imo, that Henderson cheap shot after Bisping was out cold was disgusting, and could have done some real damage.
