Yeah, he owes no one anything, least of all DFW, the treacherous scumbag ready to throw his loyal and prized possession under the bus for daring to contemplate quitting.

Im pretty sure you would be pissed if your number one asset who is under contract announced publicly before talking to you that he was going to possibly quit that you may be a little upset to.

It was hugely unprofessional of him to do that, although he isnt the first and wont be the last to do it.

I can definitely understand DFW not wanting to be blindsided, but it was insane for him to rail against GSP in the post-fight presser. I think the annoyance about the decision has unfairly rubbed onto GSP.

GSP was saying really worrying stuff -- "I don't remember the fight", "I can't sleep, I'm going crazy", and I didn't see a glimpse of sympathy for him in DFW's eyes. It's pretty grim behaviour.

Is it really such a big surprised that DFW would turn on his prized asset the second it looked as though his star was waning?

I seem to remember him doing something similar with Anderson Silva after his indifferent performance in Abu Dhabi. Ultimately, the fighter only comes first if it's in the interest of the organisation.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Yup, and DFW regularly mentions how much money Georges has made, at any opportunity it seems, but fails to also mention how much money he's in turn made the UFC.

Rumours seem to be a range of things from accidentally getting someone pregnant to being sued by his ex manager, but, for me it seems whatever is going on is probably being exacerbated by his mental health.
There's evidence of head injuries causing depression long term from plenty of sports now.

Indeed. And the fact he's been hit more times in his last 3 fights, all after his knee surgery may mean he's also never going to be thru old version of himself also.

As stated, DFW is just a sleezebag, and money is his bottom line, which is fair enough. It just irks me that he pretends that is isn't.

I've read the acronym DFW for years and never known what the F stood for and never bothered to look it up, so I've always just read it in my head as Dana Fucking White. I've just looked it up and I prefer my version.

TUF: I can't stand dickheads with no diet discipline. Je knew what he had to do but spent days eating snit send refusing to be told he's being a dickhead. Thinking his body is that special.

IMO, disciple in your eating is the best test to assess someone's ability to be disciplined. Bitch failed.

Ha ha, I assumed DFW stood for Dana fucking White too.

I think it's out of order to announce your retirement live after a fight without talking to Dana and co. first, unless:

    a) it's just emotions, and you turn it around later;
    b) it's a mental thing, in which case, how could you possibly be expected to deal with it rationally and reasonably.

I guess GSP has some shit to get through, and he's earned a lot of cash for the UFC, always done his PR, always come to the fight prepared, always been in shape, and what more could you ask from the guy...

Whatever he does, always going to love GSP for the punishment he dished out both to Matt cunting Hughes and Josh shitting Koscheck :)

Matt Hughes doesn't annoy me as much as he seems to everybody else.

I just see him as massively overly competitive, but I blame that on the fact that he has a brother.

Yep, Koscheck is a wanker though :D That Leben episode of TUF, I see him as a bully.

Did you catch him commenting on Din Thomas's "big lips" on TUF?
He's the very definition of an ignorant, racist, dumb jock bully type.
    Other than that, great guy!

Remember that season of TUF where he claimed a verse in the bible was really about him?

Hughes has some serious ego issues. And he's a dumb racist jock too.

For a change, here's who I want to win tonight:

    Diaz > Maynard
    Pena < Rakoczy
    Holdsworth < Grant
    Duke = Morgan
    Modafferri > Pennington

Diaz over Maynard? Wolf tickets! Agree with everything except Modaferri.

Bah! So much for that. Although, Wolf tickets all the way!
Great knockout for Diaz. He even had time for a "what?" gesture in the middle of it ;)

Sad for Rakocszy, routing for the "plucky single mum" line there, plus, I'd generally rather go for boxing skill over blunt aggression. Pena could go a long way though, raw, but chock full of potential.
They'll sign Grant too- he's exactly the kind if fighter DFW loves. Who needs a Harley in the UK anyway?

Disappointed with Grant and Rakocszy. Really love a top level boxer, especially in wmma.

Gotta give props to Peña, a rank outsider who went through the toughest passage to win.

Was she more of a counter puncher in Boxing, or fighting like that now due to worries about takedowns?
