Finished watching this this morning. Got bored yesterday. I had high hopes at first as the first 20 minutes are descent but then it gets veeeeeeeery boring, and just drones on. I really wish they would just let it die they are ruining Futurama by churning out this balls.

I just watched Bender's Game. Got a few laughs, but not as much as the previous two films. The bit where they enter Bender's imagination world was shit.

But it did feature Leela and Amy lezzing up, so gains a point for that at least.

Excellent, it's on its way now. :D

For some reason, I didn't think this was supposed to come out until April. It's also the last of the movies, and the last time we might see Futurama..

Anyone know how popular the DVDs have been? Popular enough to convince them to make more?

That all depends on the Cartoon Network now. Fox have said since the four films were announced that they would not be funding any new seasons of the show.

I have all seasons of Futurama and the 3 released films and would love a return. I do not think the films have been brilliant, they have had their moments though. I hope they have done enough to get a new season/s
We need more Zap and Farnsworth and Zoid and Bender and...you get my point.

Do remember that the final film is meant to tie up a few loose ends... maybe this will be it's grand finale (or just a weak finale)...

The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings will always be one of the best forced endings ever.

Are they still going to be releasing all the movies cut into half hour episodes to make another series? I love Futurama but having a hard time getting into these feature length eps.

They show them on Sky each week.

I doubt that they will release it as a 'season' on DVD/BD cos of these feature films.

I used to be a gamer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.

'Season 5' is being released as a Blue Ray exclusive at some point in the future.

Currently only Bender's Game is on Blue Ray, so the first and second films will be making their Blue Ray debut but in episode form.

Blu-Ray only? Damnit. I'd have to buy a Blu-Ray player and the cases are a different size so they'd look strange next to my other Futurama boxsets.

The episodes have less content than the films... you wouldn't be missing anything...

No comments on the new movie, then? I enjoyed it. Thought it started a bit slow, but I was hooked by the end. The final scene was pretty emotional, cause it was obviously a "goodbye" to the fans. Would love to see more, even though the movies have been nothing special, but it doesn't look like anyone will finance them for any more episodes/movies.

Oh, and you probably won't have noticed because it sounds nothing like him, but Seth MacFarlane did a voice in this movie - the Encyclopod.

Oh, and Leela 1, and 2 (NSFW, I guess). :D

Just watched it. I'm sad to say that I didn't enjoy it as much as the others, and I thought "The Devil's Hands" made a far more powerful end to the series. That said, the ending was pretty good and I'm sad to see it go.

I'd say it was better than the last two, but not as good as Bender's Big Score.

    Overall..

Bender's Big Score > Into the Wild Green Yonder > Bender's Game > Beast With A Billion Backs

I quite liked beast with a billion backs. Appealed to my perverted sense of humour I think. :D
