So I think I've developed a bit of a trainer fetish recently, having bought 10 pairs in the past month. My recent buy was this from Adidas and I must say it's been one of my favourites so far.

Anyone else got a trainer fetish and would like to share some delights?

I like those (first post). It's good to see classic designs come back to footwear, rather than the horrible moulded, looks like a spraypainted turds that adorned peoples feet.

But 10 pairs in a month!

    I really like those :)

I love trainers, myself. Converse All-Stars and some Adidas ones are what I wear all the time when I'm not working. And sometimes I wear the all-stars to work even :)

I've not worn trainers as casual footwear for years, mind. I love a nice sturdy pair of boots, plus they don't stink as much.

10 pairs ain't that bad! Is it? I just see a pair I like and buy it.

Big fan of Adidas and I must agree with Tiger_Walts. Keep it clean and simple I say.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but you don't deserve feet.

I have a problem with not buying t-shirts. If it makes me laugh it'll end up in my wardrobe even if I'm broke :(

I recently bought a pair of Duffs Gambler trainers in white and red, see www.duffs.co.uk for a pic. They're very comfortable and don't make you look like you've got corrective shoes like most oversized skating trainers. (I don't skate, I just liked them)

Apart from that I have a pair of old Nike Air Max, possibly the most comfortable trainers ever.

I like simple trainers with a simple design, I really can't stand some of the luminous, vomit inducing colours that seem popular today.

    Classy, yet casual.

Now if only I could find a shop in Denmark that has them - can't afford to go to London every time I need a new pair of sneaks... :'[

EDIT: And also über-light and very comfortable to wear. Pretty water-proof too.
