The BBC have released a trailer for The Day of the Doctor!

Looks pretty great to me! A load better than I was expecting. Was that a glimpse of Gallifrey? Maybe even during the Time War?

Also, Brian Cox's Science of Doctor Who show is on this Thursday (14th) at 9pm on BBC2.

Would assume that's Gallifrey, since The Moment was mentioned? Or a bluff?

Looks pretty good though, interested to see what kind if chemistry Tennant and Smith have.

I'm more interested in the recoloured old shows they're planning to show. Any news on those?

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

Looks like they spent a lot of money, at least.

Shame we have to endure Billie Piper again, though. :(

I didn't mind Piper per se. It's was more the RTDesque rubbish she had to say.

I find her intensely irritating, in or out of Doctor Who. :)

Perhaps I give he too much credit, comparing her against Catherine Tate. Ugh!

And also hints that McGann could have made a really good Doctor had he had more of a crack at it.

Really good stuff, wasn't expecting to come back from lunch and Den of Geek's twitter basically saying "watch it now before you get spoiled!"

I thought the 'Night of the Doctor' was pretty cool. I wonder if it'll run on BBC3 during the lead up next week?

Based on that I'd quite like to see McGann do a "Lost Stories" Late night Doctor Who.

    Very cool.

This morning's dump was better than the whole of the last series. Well, the first half of it at least.

The series, that is, you dirty people!

That was great why have John Hurt at all?

    Niiice...

So, that's it confirmed that John Hurt was the 9th Doctor and in theory Capaldi the 13th and, also theoretically, final one?

Unless they find a way of explaining the John Hurt regeneration away as not a real one, or they come up with even more regens between Hurt and Ecclestone and write out the limit somewhere in between.

    Fun!

I wonder if they're going to take the chronology of the show back on itself and reveal Capaldi not as the new Matt Smith, but the new John Hurt, and in that process undo the whole '12 regenerations only' thing so that Ecclestone onwards could well have been the 17th, 18th and 19th Doctors?

I know Clara tells Matt Smith she's seen all his faces and he's the 11th, but she's evidently wrong because he's seemingly the 12th. So maybe there's loads more that she missed...

    Just being fanciful.
