Ketchup sandwiches with 4 chocolate biscuits, and apple and water...

Thats what happens when I'm left to make lunch for myself.

Shame I ate it an hour ago, I'm hungry now, why do the finns have to eat so damned early?!!

    :D

A delicious sweet pepper and pork pasta type affair thrown in the nuker for a minute. Yum yum!

    On a slight tangent....

How do you go about explaining to your wife that you vastly prefer your own cooking to hers without causing a huge portion of cold shoulder with a side dish of strops? Any tips?

Why not offer to cook dinner?

Then its seen as a loving gesture.

Big Mac and a 1/4 pounder with cheese. Fridays are not a healthy day.

I've been leaping up to offer to cook nearly every day but she has started to suggest "What do you want for dinner tonight honey?" as she is finishing earlier than me most days now. I am running out of ideas!

Thats what I'm thinking....Smells like a trap to me too.

I may have come up with a semi solution. I'm going to suggest we make dinner together tonight, see how that goes. Its a compromise of sorts. At least then I will see how she manages to feck up pretty simple dishes so spectacularly.

Could try asking her to cook some new things, a more polite way of saying "your current dishes are ming".

My other half can't cook to save her life, so I'm in a similar situation except I'm quite clearly the better cook and she is ok with that.

Or maybe text her in the morning and say "I'm doing (whatever) tonight for dinner, ok with you?"

It's good, but you probably want to add "It better fucking be, because your cooking is shit" at the end. You don't want to be too subtle.

I will post her an anonymous letter from a concerned 3rd party. Constructed from news paper headline cut outs.

    "YoUr cOOking IS fuCKING RuBBBish!
A concerned third party that is most definitly not your husband!"

Yep, you have to hide the pill in the treat, to make it easier to swallow.

Something like. "Baby, you suck cock like a 1000 whore, but your cooking is shite."

Does she like her own cooking?
