Didn't Robinson spend Armistice Day marching with neo-nazis in Poland?

Speaking of which, how do you think Alan Sugar feels about the most famous ex-Apprentice being Katie Hopkins (who thought that march was great)

YouGov prove leave voters are stupid and racist:

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/nov/14/sex-slang-steak-views-leave-remain-worlds-apart

    Shocking I know.

Asked on the weekend of his inauguration whether Trump would make a “great” or “good” president of the US, 30% of leave voters said they believed he would.

Zero percent of remain voters said they thought Trump would be a “great” president.

But it is also something that Russia doesn't want.
It makes the UK military more irrelevant on the world stage which annoys people who think Britain was awesome in colonial times and still are if it wasn't for the EU!

Also, I would laugh if BAE got screwed by Brexit and weren't on the table for better cooperation and procurement and speaking of that, this is what it really is and only a good thing.
I agree that that's how it's seen, but it's kinda ironic. Britain and France have the only significant military capabilities in the EU, so if we'd stayed in and an EU army was created, it would mostly be run, for better or worse, by British generals.

That quote doesn't actually prove anything. The 30% of leave voters includes "great" and "good". The 0% of remain is just "great". By that measure you could still end up with the same result for leave and remain voters. (0% great, 30% good). Very messy, and very Guardian :)

EDIT: ah you missed out the last sentence from the article - that 3% of remain thought he would be good.

Also, looking at the questions / results, makes me wonder how close it simply correlates to age, seeing as leave voters skew older. So, basically older = more stupid and more racist.

Leave voters are twice as likely to want to ban the burqa

Seventy percent of leave voters told YouGov they supported “a law against wearing a full body and face veil” aimed at Muslim women. Only 32% of remain voters felt the same way.
    SOVEREIGNTY

And half as likely to think that gollies are offensive

Asked “Do you think it is or is not acceptable to sell or display a golliwog doll?”, 71% of leave voters said “acceptable”. Remain voters scored 37%.

You know on referendum result day when we took back control?

Gove totally rapped "guess who's back, controls back" in an Eminem voice while doing "street" hand gestures around his house.

    Picture it. He totally did.

I liked the one in a poll shortly after the referendum where a majority of Leave voters thought that women's rights had gone too far :)

If you aren't white, male, and (most likely) middle aged... you've got some control to be giving up.

Frank Field says we should leave the EU at midnight UK time not midnight continental European time.

Why are Brexit fans such trolls?

It's the pride in leaving that upsets me most about Labour leavers, do they not see that its the people they represent who are going to suffer most when the Tory project they're propping up and siding with screws the country?

James Dyson won't be losing his house when it goes to hell but people in Blyth might.

"Honda UK telling MPs it imports 2 million components a day from Europe on 350 trucks and holds 1 hours worth of stock. It would take 18 months to put customs admin in place but every 15 minutes of delay would cost £850,000 a hour. That's not including WTO tariffs of 10% and 4.5%."
Probably no biggy. Our jam exports should cover that.

Looks like it was a good night for the Tories on the EU Withdrawl Bill.

Haven't seen a breakdown of who voted which way but guessing from the numbers that Theresa May's pet "socialists" have continued to defy the Labour leadership and stayed loyal to the government again as they did during the earlier reading.

There's a brilliant Renaissance style picture of all the Blairite Red Tories imploring Brexit's Frank Field not to side with the government doing the rounds on twitter. I hope it's genuine.

If anyone is still naïve enough to listen to the troll farms

Facebook Has Finally Opened The Door To Admitting Russia Meddled In Brexit

Facebook are going from "no evidence that Russia interfered in Brexit, " to saying there was no "significant co-ordination".

Remember how Zuck went from completely dismissing any meddling in the U.S. election to then admitting to millions that at the moment are hundreds of millions of targeted interactions.

Facebook have no fucking clue what's going on and it's costly and difficult to find out. Not helped by the fact that they are actively hindering any outside attempts at finding out.

WIRED have also done some looking into Russian meddling via Twitter and
    found evidence that it happened

In a small snapshot of what is likely to be a much bigger issue, 139 tweets from 29 accounts show Russian trolls using hashtags related to the Brexit vote, pictures of London Mayor Sadiq Kahn, anti-Muslim language around European terror attacks and racial slurs against refugees.

The accounts, which were all confirmed as being Russian-backed by Twitter when it provided data to the US Congress, were followed by 268,643 people and some of their posts were retweeted hundreds of times. They were primarily created to disrupt the US presidential election but dabbled in wider issues around Brexit and European politics.
So there you have it. Not that it was needed but at least now we can shut that tiresome troll tactic down.

Yeah just read that national cyber security chief has confirmed that Russia has been directly responsible for attacks on UK media, telecommunications and the energy sector. However he won't go into specifics, like was Brexit Russian influenced?

Well, we still don't know who paid for this.

Funding of a campaign would, of course, be of an order of magnitude more serious than any twitter bots or wotnot.

Why has this suddenly become an issue in UK politics, relatively out of the blue? Could it be that the Mueller investigation in the US has uncovered something about dodgy cash flows into UKIP and Leave.EU?

There is a huge rabbit hole you can disapppear into around funding for the Leave campaign - and the links to Mercer and Bannon. Some great long form articles on Guardian.

On Russia, though, it was actually GCHQ that alerted US side to stuff around their election.
