That's TC on 2. Acceleration is crippled like its on 3.

I wish they'd stop pissing about with it. I'm finding the GT3 fucking awful to drive now. I suspect as they're the only ones I have TC since the last big update.

Or it may have just been my weird inability to drive on Suzuka. Update is pretty great actually. Bit more life in the cars again but also maintaining the grip levels.

I can't decide between this and project cars 2. Is there anyone that has played both?

I've tried the demo for project cars and in terms of handling, sound, and graphics this has it beat by a country mile. If you're wanting a single player career mode then PC is probably the way to go though. There's supposed to be a big single player update coming to GT this month but I'm not expecting much. The online is absolutely brilliant though.

What there is of a single player mode in GTS I'm finding a little too easy as well. Looking forward to the update and hope to clear the challenges before they drop.

You'll love the PvP honestly! I used to hate online player races until this game.

For a proper racing career path and an unbeatable diversity of tracks then PCars 2 is top notch. A superb racing sim.

For pure adrenaline pumping online racing then GT Sport is the best out there.

Ideally, get both. Because both are great and are easily the best racers currently on the market.

    GT Sport all the way.

I have both and have not touched Project Cars 2 since GT Sport was released. I think PC2 is too unpredictable and GT is but still has enough depth to challenge you, this for me has allowed some fantastic close racing which for the most part has been extremely exciting.

The sound and graphics are great too and I only have a 1080 monitor.

Really wish theyíd add a 10/11/12pm race to the dailies. 9pm is too early by the time Iíve sorted the kid and myself out with dinner etc. I canít sit down at 8:30 ready for 9.

Yeah I used to compete in the 10pm FIA race every night and much prefer the longer races, wish they'd bring that time slot back.

Using the motion controls for steering is really well done in GT sport, far better than using the analogue stick for steering. Also Project cars 2 isn't that great without a wheel, the diversity is nice but it doesn't control as well as GT sport with a controller.

It doesn't control as well with a wheel either.

After playing the PC2 demo I have to agree. I got it usable but I don't have to do that with GTS it just... Works.

The difference between the acceleration in TC 1 and 2 on the GT3 is really noticeable now. I'm trying with 1 but it's really unpredictable when the back end will go.

Was then about to post the same thing. The GT3ís in general are so loose at the back end now. Youíre just on a knife edge with them all the time now. Not nearly as fun to drive using a pad as they used to be.

Really struggled with the GR4 race last night. I was in the 1:47s and most others were in the 1:44s. Still, was a decent track and good racing! Got my SR up to B at least.

Is there any penalty for snaking? It's my only gripe with the game so far. It's annoying to nail a corner, catch someone on a straight but either have to back out or accidentally bump someone (and lose rep!) because they are weaving to protect their position.

Overall, loving it though. Does anyone else get a little nervous before a race? There's a proper sense of occasion! :)

Does TCS slow acceleration at the start? Iíve noticed quite a lot that when the green light comes on I often get very close to the car in front by the first corner, just wondering whether it was because they had traction control on. And also whether abs makes people have to brake earlier. Thatís how it would work in other games I guess, but Iím not sure how it works here.

@superdelphinus the closing up is because of drafting, most races have it set to weak.

Suzuka! GR4 race. Qualified 8th and finished 3rd in my Nissan GT-R. Not too shaby. Best race for me so far. :)

Didn't hurt that Suzuka is one of my favourite circuits.

Feel free to mock my terrible driving.

I had an awesome day racing yesterday with the Toyota S-FR at Brands, the car is so well balanced, lovely oversteer out of slow corners. Seemed to just click me with me and the time I set got me pole in about 5 out of 6 races, startIng DR C and finishing with DR B for the first time :) Think I won 4 out of 6 races, the ones I didnít win I was punted off last corner in one and lost concentration in the other throwing away a 6 second lead. Did my poles, fastest laps and race win stats no end of good.

Brands is my go to track in Assetto Corsa to test new cars, looks like the practice paid off :)

No itís different to draft - Iím talking about right of the lights, the very first phase of acceleration. Unless the slipstream is just immediately on an arbitary amount
