@Saul_Iscariot errr yeah, that's how they have their own save files, with their own accounts. not sure how that solves the problem?

This morning as I was leaving the house, my 5 year old shouted 'Bye Mr Poo Poo daddy!' through floods of tears. Because he saw me pack my switch and wouldn't be able to play when he got back from school.

The problem is real! Give save transfers Nintendo! Save me from the abuse.
Give the poor child the switch and read the newspaper on your commute and do the crossword instead :-P
Fk that! I'm not an adult ffs

@Gregolution Sorry I misunderstood your post about save file transfers. Your problem is you and your child want to play the Switch at the same time? If that is the case remember how important your child is to you. Mine comes third to Star Wars and Nintendo, and she has always known that.

I don't think it'll happen any time soon, tbh. The console has been out for well over two months, and the OS has barely changed in that time.

'Mr Poo Poo Daddy' is a term of endearment in my house.

I suspect that any save file shenanigans will coincide with them starting their paid online play service. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the only way to do it, too, given the potential for save files to be used as a payload for exploits. Whether that's accurate or not isn't important, of course!

Are they still hard to get hold of?

Shopto were the only place that had them online that I could see when I ordered mine a few weeks ago.

ShopTo had them earlier today. I ordered one.

I have no idea why, probably nostalgia for the time I drove to Toys R Us for a GBA.

They are pretty nifty gadgets, i haven't played on mine all that much but that's because i only bought Mario Kart which i just dip into every now and then.

I don't want to start anything big like Zelda or Disagea 5 at the moment.

Can anyone recommend me a cheap Ethernet USB adapter thingy that works?

I have my Switch nicely set up with my new second hand monitor and thought I'd treat myself to better online play.

Just bit the bullet and bought Minecraft.

Haven't played it since I downloaded the Beta on my Mac years ago. Blown away by how far it's come along.

The graphics are simple, but stunning. The UI is detailed but easy enough to use,. My girlfriend watched me play bit and is now eager to give it a go (oo-er).

So far I'm a very happy bunny.

@Devilligan can you tell me how many people can pay local co-op in one switch? I'm seeing 2 in some places and 4 in others.

That is great... Switch will be my goto console for these kind of games unless they are xbox play anywhere.

    4. You can even play 4 In tabletop mode but it's a little hard to see.

I love the Switch for these smaller games but in this case I'd say Thumper is best on PSVR. Really mental being inside that world with the music thumping.
