I thought this was worth a shout out. It's mentioned in the Hip-Hop thread, but old squares like me might miss it in there.

Is it worth just grabbing everything? The only one I've heard is 3 Feet High... and, to be honest, I thought it sounded very dated, but hey free stuff!

The Grind Date is surprisingly good, especially the joint they did with DOOM.

Just adding to these my library now, and they haven't done the bloody tags. So annoying.

Yeh perhaps that's unfair, I just mean that its a more modern release from a 'classic' artist.

My favourite song or 'beat' or 'joint' or 'whatever' of there's is a random tune that came out of nowhere that had a Kool and the gang sample in it, but I've not heard it since the late 90s and not been able to find it since

After hearing about this I also stumble across this awesome De La Fela Kuti mix, definitely worth a listen.
