Wow, after several thousand hours of FM play across my life (probably collectively nearly one year of game time I imagine if I take it from the CM2 days, maybe more)|
I think I've lost my drive to play up to 40 seasons. It isn't the game, nothing has changed too much, I was able to ease in with ease, even without sliders. Maybe because I'm not happy with the Chelsea squad in real life that I find myself a little disheartened managing a group of trash bought by RA. I got to my third game and I felt 'ugh'. Then again, as a manager simulation, I guess it is finally hitting that omg so realistic aspect; now I know how real managers feel having to manage trash.*
Regardless, the game looks its best. The 3D engine is its sharpest yet and the improvements to all the stuff around the matches itself is really top notch. Naturally, this is the best yet.
*Another sadness is Lampard is, once again, a year older, a year worse off in ability and offering me less time to utilise my favourite midfielder.
edit: I would happily play with my hometown, Hitchin but we're so shit we can't get in to FM's lowest tier.
