My front thigh muscles were killing me for a couple of days afterwards. My legs aren't exactly weak as I run, but that must hit a different part of the muscle. If it hurt that much, it must be doing some good. I played it several times in a row as it was tricky, and when I finished I had jelly legs.
There are plenty of other muscle exercises in there too, push ups, luge, all that type of thing. The beginner stuff isn't too bad and that's what is offered up to you first, I assume if you want a harder workout you just go straight for the advanced stuff, though you may have to unlock that first by doing the basic, I'm not sure.
I don't really get proggy's point - it's kind of stating the obvious - it's not a gym membership - but if you can't be arsed going to a gym - you'll get out of it what you put into it, it is exercise after all and hugely varied exercise at that, so you have yoga, cardio, muscle etc. as well as the fun stuff.
I run - so this in conjunction with running is fine for me.
