The scene in the boardroom in the Crow is amazing.

May have been said already, but the climax of Fast 6 is, in all seriousness, one of the best action scenes I've seen. It's got about 5 different things going on at once, and it builds and builds. Plus Vin does a flying headbutt!

How patches are ruining the future of gaming My thoughts.

Not sure it strictly qualifies as an action sequence, but the plane crash in Flight is absolutely incredible.

Gene Hackman chasing the train in his car in The French Connection would have to be up there.

Yeah, definitely action and very well done. For me, the crash in The Grey was better, more disturbing and visceral.

Also, any of the action scenes in Children of Men.

That plane crash reminded me a lot of the one in Lost.

I really didn't like The Grey. Just found it all very derivative and a bit silly.

A lot of the fights in The Raid were impressive. They had such weight to them that you just don't get in CG-fests. Incredible skill.

Also while I hated the film, I couldn't deny the awesomeness of the Burj Khalifa sequence in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

A very unfair comparison I think.

Just remembered another one I really enjoyed.

The opening boat chase down the Thames in The World Is Not Enough.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

@CosmicFuzz The end race in The Fast and The Furious with the train and the flip is outstanding.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

The last hour of The Avengers was pretty fantastic. The car chase in Matrix Reloaded is up there as well.

    In addition to everything else

    Police raid in Leon.
    Attack on convoy in TDK.
    Kill Bill Crazy 88 restaurant
    Harrier in True Lies
Initial attack bit from War of the Worlds
Vaguely recall 'Hard Boiled' being fucking mental. And Die Hard with a vengeance

As Die Hard is my number one film of all time, I suppose the set-piece on the top of the skyscraper with the helicopter has to be my top choice

    "Blow the roof!"

    Fucking outstanding film.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Taken - all of it. (I'm only half-joking. Ok fine I'm completely serious.)

    Oldboy corridor scene.

Children of Men - every chase/battle sequence was breathtaking.

If we're counting animated films then Asuka's fight in The End of Evangelion is pretty awesome.

Very good shout. Some bits of that are brutal.

All the eurogamers who actually play with each other on xbl rather than just post pseudointellectual pc handwringing bollocks on the forums, love the shit out of biggy.
