For me, this looks like the best game of the lineup, with Crimson Dragon just behind it.

I am currently working so I have to ask. Has anyone played this yet, what are your impressions and did you use Kinect?

So I played for a bit using Kinect. It's kind of, erm, weird.

Seems vaguely like a mix of Deadly Premonition and Heavy Rain, I guess? You look around for clues, get to see weird dialogue and scenes, and there are also some QTE scenes. You get points for all interactions, and you can spend them on costumes and items. It also has a stamina and life system. So I dunno yet. I will need to play more. I stopped before the first big case.

The Kinect controls work well enough that you don't feel hindered by them, but some choices are a little weird... for example, you have to raise your head a bit, otherwise David looks slightly downward by default. Also, my Kinect doesn't recognize my grab gesture if I'm sitting, so I have to play standing.

Graphics are crappy, but charming. The dub seems better than Deadly Premonition, although that may not be a good thing. Well, the whole presentation is still weird enough to work. But for now, it seems more "in your face" weird, compared to the implicit silliness of DP.

    Wait this is out now?!

I thought this was one loads of people were waiting for? Seems to have been released to absolutely zero fanfare.

@LordAmbler for that price, I'd argue that yes, it's worth trying, although I don't know how long it is. They say it's just two episodes, but I'm not sure if the next episodes will be included in the price or will have to be bought separately.

The pricing is lower than the usual Telltale stuff, so I'd guess we need to buy the next chapters too.

Chances of a Kinect game out-Metacritic'ing Destiny?

I think, like DP, this is gonna be quite polarizing. However, at least the technical part is pretty sound (no obvious bugs, decent realization, and you can even choose the controller) so at least that shouln't garner much criticism.

Don't quit the game at the start of chapter 2 when in Davids room other wise you won't be able to continue and will have to delete the save.
