Fiat should hold it's value better as it's fashionable and in demand. Will cost more to buy though.

    My preference personally:

    1. 500
    2. Aygo
    3. Ka

500s are sexy. Aygo is probably the best car though.

I actually got a 500 due to having to scrap my civic back when you got 2k off the price or something, and I needed an economical car.
I'd advise you to test drive them, my choice ended up being between a 500, a clio, a ka and some Hyundai I don't remember the name of (i2?)

The 500 was so much nicer to drive, the inside of the car just feels solid and lavish, compared to the others, the gearstick isn't some piddly little plastic stick etc. (gods the Clio was fucking awful)
Had mine for 3 years now, no issues other than the usual, like break pad replacements. It even survived driving through floods.

However, given that I got the car to be economical, I'm a bit disappointed with the fuel usage, I thing I get 50mpg more or less (but I do a lot of short, city runs atm) and bearing in mind this is an older model, may be better now. Oh and the windows media blue&me mp3 thing is shit, dunno why they can't just have a aux in slot.
The only other negative I can think of is that in mine the first gear is so insanely short I just don't bother using it.

Has kept it's value really well, but I doubt ill sell it at least for a while. Does what I want it to. But yeah, def test drive one.

500, or a Golf Up! As a fourth option.

    Volkswagen Up! obvs. not Golf.

The Ka's are fun to drive but the 500's are just too cute.

    You better watch out.
    You better beware.

I have a Citroen c1 and it does the job. Same parts as an Aygo (the c1, Aygo and 105 are all rebadged versions of the same car) but they're cheaper and Citroen do good finance deals on new ones.

Recently I've been obsessing over the 500s, just damn nice little cars. Never liked the new minis but love these.

Me too. I would love to have a 500. My dad had one back in the day.

We have an Aygo as a run around. Never had any bother with it(we're on our second now). Mine has Bluetooth and air con. There is a surprising amount of space in the back - though obvioulsy the boot is tiny. Best thing about it is the running costs. Road tax is something like 25, about 60 for a tyre and obviously very economical.

Have a C1 as well, very cheap little runaround. Does around 60 mpg, only problem has been the water pump motor, which is a known issue with the older models. Fixed for the newer ones afaik.

I basically bought it for the daily run to work and it's done everything I could ask of it really. Bit light and 'interesting' to drive in high winds, but surprisingly sure footed in the snow. Boot is tiny, but they're quite roomy for passengers considering the size.

Acceleration starts out good, but it's a bit gutless at higher speeds.

I had a 500 courtesy car for a few weeks after someone wrote my current (at the time) car off. Really nice little cars, Id recommend to anyone interested. Ive not driven the other two makes though so cant compare.

I believe the fiat 500 comes with a tampon holder on the dash as well, which will come in handy.

Get an aygo, no road tax, insurance group one, 65 mpg. You can get it financed on access Toyota with 0% and a years free insurance. Also it looks better than a c1 or the 107. Better warranty too.

I love the 500. Gorgeous little car. Had a Ka (original model) for a courtesy car recently though and even though I clocked it whilst I was driving (wish I'd taken a picture!) I was surprised by how well it drove.

Yikes. Perhaps I'll get one for my commute when my Passat finally dies then get a family car for my wife.

Surely the 500 is literally the most feminine car currently available?

I got an Aygo Fire. Great little runner, even with 2 kids. No road tax too.

Ka looks pretty cool, but interior quality is pathetic.
