    I think everyone has encountered the commandos series and how awesome the graphics style was with that. And with more demand for isometric games shown by some of the kickstarter projects- what are the greatest isometric games?

    Also, there was an isometric shmup called The Reap on PC which I was always tempted by, is it still worth being tempted by does anyone know ?

    @mrpon The Great Escape was brilliant. Along with almost all my other Speccy games, I never got anywhere near finshing it.

    Just playing seemed enough...

    There was this isometric game about 15 (or so) years ago on the PC, it kind of looks like Diablo and all I remember is that it was awesome and it starred a red robot looking guy going through office looking environments killing people. Maybe it was Diablo but it was so long ago I have no idea.

    Is this real or a figment of my imagination?

    Already mentioned - the Crusader series. Both games (No Remorse and No Regret) are on GOG.

    Google shows it to be Crusader: No Remorse! Never heard of it in the above post but bloody loved playing it on my mates PC back in the day

    Very foggy memories though

    It's been so long, had no idea what it was called :)

    might have to reach back to my early PC roots and dig this out from GOG too
