    Yeah it's a pretty good archive, click on the viewer.html in each folder.

    eg: ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/magazines/Crash/CrashViewer.html

    I have all 12 editions of Raze magazine. They didn't last long.
    And a couple of mean machines bumper specials.

    I remember Games-X in the early 90's, it was a small but weekly mag. Pocket money got all spent on it, great little mag.

    I used to love Total back in the SNES era, then later I got into TotalStation in the PS1 era (don't know if they were related), and then I enjoyed PSNext about 10 years back. That last one only had a handful of issues though, which is a shame as I thought it was a good magazine.

    Love that cvg with the first reviews of sonic the hedgehog and street fighter 2, and an article entitled "what is cd-rom anyway?"

    And an article from Richard leadbetter who looks about 13

    That Internet Archive one is fabulous, especially with Kindle mobi versions of the mags!! Just emailing a few to my Kindle now.

    I'm not sure what country Computer Gaming World was written in, but you can find a complete archive from 1981 to 2006 here.

    I recommend reading or skimming at least one issue in the early days. It's...eye-opening to say the least.

    @bracken3000 Ah, sorry then.

    There used to be some Japanese magazines in the 80s and early 90s that covered European computers, but they are long dead now and it is extremely easy for copywritten material to be taken down on Japan's side fascist side of the Internet.

    Not that anyone here could read them, but that's how I got a lot of information about foreign games when I was little. My dad had a lot of those issues laying around his house. (Along with a mountain load of pirated PC games, but that's another story for another time.)

    @JinTypeNoir I am gonna go through them, Im curious. Never had a PC when I was a kid, just a spectrum 48K and aload of taped games that hardly ever worked!

    @bracken3000

    I am being a nitpicker, but ACE wasn't an exclusively Amiga magazine. It was multiformat, and soon after that issue when VGA graphics became much more common they started to rip the piss out of the Amiga every now and then (Ultima Underworld, for example).

    /goes home to play Dangerous Streets.
