I've been pondering a lot things lately in terms of Walt Disney. I'm still very sad and disappointed that Walt Disney has cancelled and not considered or even attempted to revive or even kickstart the marvelous video game Pirates of the Caribbean Armada of the Damned.
As I was looking into the leaks regarding Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag an acquaintance on Google Plus shared with me a photograph of the Tree of Life from Walt Disney World Resort's Animal Kingdom attraction in Orlando, Florida which prompted me with the idea of a movie. I think that Disney should definitely create a movie based off of the Animal Kingdom attraction at Walt Disney World. Disney is already prepping movies for Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn and Tiki Room. Disney's new Lone Ranger movie is supposed to tie-in with the Big Thunder Mountain attraction in Disney's parks also. Pirates of the Caribbean is an excellent example of the transition from theme park to motion picture gold.
Disney already has Guillermo Del Toro working on another The Haunted Mansion movie adaption and I think that either Del Toro, M. Night Shyamalan (After Earth) or Ang Lee (Life of Pie) would be the perfect talent to create a movie adaption of Animal Kingdom and channel the magic and spirituality of previous works such as the timeless classic The Lion King. I imagine the Tree of Life playing a central and spiritual role in a Animal Kingdom movie.
