Turns out these dogs are the only thing in this world Deckard actually cares about. Who knew?

I think someone should tell EA about the typo in the Crysis 3 add on page 1 of the forum.

    'Assess' has 4 S's.

Maybe they're highlighting the tight fitting nature of the suit instead, I suppose.

    Has she been spayed yet?
Not yet - that was a thought but it has only appeared with the diarrhoea.

I can't tell if she is better today. The wife had her out this morning and said her diarrhoea looked better/firmer, but then it didn't when I had her out later. She seems drained and sleepy but I guess that is to be expected when your arse is exploding. No blood drops in her poop or on her bum (washed her arse in the shower again so I am able to tell). She didn't completely finish her food which is the first time ever but that may be because it was a big bowl of rice (she did eat all the yoghurt and the small spoonful of kiddle that I mixed in - and most of the rice).

Cheers. And yeah, god help me. I'm a massive worrier generally, when it comes to the people or pets I love it turns a bit neurotic.

Sounds better to me. Dogs can be as fussy as cats especially when they've got two feeders. Still, better get her checked out on Monday.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

You'd need a conversion box that uses a standard type (i.e. not xbox proprietary), I expect that'd be component and a good one of those would probably be more expensive than trading xboxes.
Not too bad. Thought they'd be a bit cheaper.

I couldn't say what trading would cost, though.
Sorry to bring up an old subject, but would this cable work instead of this?

@Blotto That's a male to male cable but might work with something like this too: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Triple-Female-Connector-Coupler-Electronics/dp/B001D8E51I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1361732441&sr=1-1

Although I thought you needed all 6 cables for a component, the 3 composite (red, yellow, white) and the 3 on that one you linked.

My daughter's 3rd birthday is next month, and as I look through a list of presents we're considering getting her - and it's stuff she's actually asked for - I ponder one thing:

I was determined she wasn't going to be one of these girls who dresses all in pink, who is obsessed with Disney Princesses, who doesn't fall in to the stereotype of your standard little girl. I've guided her and encouraged her to find her own way even at this still very young age... How did she end up becoming obsessed with Rapunzel and Cinderella? How did she come to ask for a Rapunzel dress and a Princess bag?

    She does love those princesses.
You think "they're only 2 or 3. They know nothing of the world and I can filter it for them. But then they go to a daycare or some out of house child supervision and interact with other kids et voila! :-0
My daughter is a few months older and it's no different. She went from playing out how she is "the mommmy" or "the teacher" to being a princess quite quickly. There was a carnival dance at her school a few weeks back. Every single 3-4 year old girl was a princess.
Last weekend she went to a birthday party of a girl in her kindergarten class. Princesses ahoy.

You can't steer it as you assumed you would be able to. :-)

Nothing wrong with aspiring to female role models, that's a natural part of growing up, making an identity. We just need to create / value better quality role models for our children, and we need to reinforce to girls that it's best to be your own Prince. This the bit I struggle with regarding the (Disney) Princess Myth.

My nieces went full Barbie at around 4-5 and were all about the princess shit. My sister-in-law despaired, but by 6-7 they wanted to be princess astronauts, and princess scientists.
I think (hope) that if you don't feed it too much, they'll get past it.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Pff. I doubt Olivia actually saw any of the Disney movies. It's just girls. In pretty dresses and PINK, omg pink! So she likes it. I don't feel it's poisoning her mind or Something.

My daughter and her mates moved from Disney Princess to High School Musical to Hannah Montanna and now it is One Direction, Blackberry phones and boys.
Edit.... Enjoy it while they're still young and fun and believe they are a little princess.

Did I imagine this or did I see somewhere on the front page about tickets for Eurogamer Expo 2013 going on sale this Friday? No article on the FP or on their Facebook but I'm 84.25% certain I saw seomthing on it.

    Am I going slightly mad?

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

I killed a cat on the way to work today.
There was nothing I could do, it came out of nowhere. Still feel terrible about it, first mammal I've killed and I've been driving for 12 years. Feel gutted :/

I ran over a Pheasant not too long after I learnt to drive. I had my window open as well so I got a good clear listen to the crunch.

Nope, didn't have the time. I think it did that typical cat thing where they sit by the road, see you coming, then freak out at the last moment and run over. Worst thing is it let out a little "maw". Followed by ka-thump thump.

Years ago I had a tearful conversation from my then girlfriend saying she had swerved so hard to avoid a pheasant she had got her car stuck in a six foot ditch.

Lucky you swerved into the ditch and not oncoming traffic, dumbass.
