Apple blocks Java on Macs over security risks

  Some Mac users were taken by surprise Thursday as their computers stopped running programs written using the Java programming language after Apple blocked Java due to security problems.
  
  My girlfriend is pretty pissed about this!

  Apple have been getting on my nerves more and more lately. Not with the hardware, it's still as attractive as ever. But they really need to rethink their approach to software.

  Yeah, they should definitely have written Java better.
